When using Acrylic facing mount NOTE: the thicker the Acrylic the heavier the piece will be and the more shadows will be seen on the image around the edges. Now we are happy to mount images in up to 1 inch thick acrylic but most often there is no need for the heavier plexiglass in order to have an outstanding Gallery Quality Image.
